“We edit your words, not your voice.”
KD Language Services
OUR STORY

Language barriers, writer’s block, and miscommunication can stall progress and dilute good ideas. KD Language Services exists to remove those obstacles and bring clarity back to your communication.

Founded in August 2020, the company is grounded in formal qualifications in law, translation, editing, and digital marketing, supported by more than a decade of practical linguistic experience. This combination allows us to approach every project with precision, structure, and a strong sense of context.

Our dedicated team provides in-depth editing, Afrikaans–English translation and vice versa, creative content writing, on-brand copywriting, ghostwriting, and transcription. Whether refining existing text or developing content from scratch, we focus on accuracy, tone, and consistency, ensuring that every word serves a purpose.

As a result, our clients receive language solutions that are thoughtful, reliable, and professionally executed. Instead of ongoing content headaches, you gain communication that is clear, polished, and ready to represent your brand with confidence.

MEET OUR WORDSMITHS

Karli is an experienced wordsmith and the founder of KD Language Services.

A BA Law degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Translation and Editing at Stellenbosch University and a Digital Marketing Certificate from Udemy form the foundation of her expertise.

She worked as a translator, editor and travel blogger in the tourism industry for four years before venturing into the world of digital corporate marketing as a social media copywriter.

Karli spots spelling and grammar errors like a hawk and thrives on crafting creative content. She has also mastered the art of transforming your words into a brand-new text, whether it’s from English to Afrikaans or vice versa.

Outside of work, Karli reads literary fiction, listens to classic rock, follows cricket closely, and has a soft spot for penguins. She’s happiest walking along the beach, breathing in the sea air and switching off for a while.
